We have established a new type of computing course that focuses on usercentred design and software engineeringrather than Mathematical computing. At theheart of our innovative degree is the conceptthat software should be imaginative andsatisfy the needs of people. The course isrelevant to the real world and is modelled on good practice in industry.We have regular input from an active Industrial Advisory Board withmembers from BT NCR Visual Sciences SUN and Microsoft. This helpsconfirm that our students develop the skillsthat employers are seeking.
