Page 2Everyone had a wonderful time learning new skills with knowledgeable and friendly instructors in this classic Au Sable River setting. We had a very special guest Rosalynde Johnston of Charlevoix. Ms. Johnston was 100 years old in December 2003 and began fishing on the Au Sable in 1926 very near the present location of Twin Pine Lodge. Rosalynde was accompanied by her friend Margie Kessler who is an accomplished fly fisher in her own right. Page 3It was inspiring to Rosalynde's tales of learning to fish with some of the local legends such as Ernie Boucher. Rosalynde enthusiastically took part in all the classes adding her expertise to that of our excellent instructors Frank Janka and Jamie Thompson.
