Beyond BOW Fly Fishing Workshop Page 1Please Post 6/12/07 Beyond BOW Fly Fishing Workshop A Becoming an OutdoorsWoman in Alaska program This exciting 15hour workshop includes fly tackle selection and the skills tactics and methods necessary to catch Interior Alaska sport fish on a fly rod. The instruction team provides fly casting tips and instruction so that attendees gain confidence in their abilities. Participants gain scientific knowledge on Alaskan freshwater fish habitat entomology and stream ecology in the context of practical fly fishing advice. Fly fishing tackle is available for participants use. All adult participants must have a current Alaska sport fishing license. Friday June 29 69 pm; Sat/Sun June 30 & July 1 10a 4p Workshop sessions to be held at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game 1300 College Road Fairbanks and on local fishing waters.
