Accuracy of position fixes (longitude latitude and altitude) can be affected by alterations made to the GPS satellites by the U.S.Government. Accuracy is subject to change in accordance with the U.S.Department of Defense civil GPS user policy and Federal Radionavigation Plan. Positional accuracy and time to fix time can also be affected by poor view of caused by obstructions such as tall buildings heavy foliage large cliffs and other obstructions where GPS satellite signals are blocked and poor satellites geometry conditions result.
