In Your Group All group members should read the entire section. Consider the chapter title. Consider the subheadings within the chapter. How are the subheadings linked to the chapter title? Come up with several key idea statements/original source quotations for each section of your reading. Group members should also identify and define difficult vocabulary from the reading that pertains to the presentation of the material. You will be putting these statements together into a presentation outline for your chapter. Group members will present their discussion and summaries to the class on Monday April 2 2007. PresentationYour presentation should be five to ten minutes long and groups should use superior public speaking skills (appropriate presentation behavior loud clear voice eye contact vocal variety for emphasis). Cover the following information: 1. Create an effective visual to help discuss and summarize the key points in the section. (You will probably want to create a PowerPoint.) Refer to the questions provided for each chapter to ensure that your group covers the main points in the discussion. 2. Identify and define key vocabulary words.
