R0705AG2110 GPS Collar Quick Guide G2110 GPS COLLAR SYSTEMThe G2110 GPS Collar is a GPS storeonboard collar with a timed release mechanism. This quick guide is designed to get you started and answer important questions quickly. INSTALLINGWINCOLLARWinCollar software is a Windows based program that allows you to view your collars programming and download your collars data. The program is normally supplied on compact disk (CD). To install put the CD in the CD drive of your computer. The installation will begin. Follow instructions on your computer display for the remainder of the installation. If the automatic install does not begin select start>run>browse select your CD drive then Setup.exe Open and OK. Follow the instructions. If any other previous versions of this software are on the computer remove it using start>settings>control panel>add or remove programs.Page 4 Advanced Telemetry Systems Inc. If your study location varies significantly (more than 200km) from its last location the GPS will no longer be searching for the correct satellite set. The GPS receiver bases its search criteria on its last known location. In GPS language this is known as a cold start.
