Many people have shown high interest in the innovatory concept meant to makemobile gameplay far easier and more enjoyable. Still Sony Ericsson seems to be the only one not getting carried away by the idea of thepatent application. Futuristic as it may be with highly evolved features the PSP phoneconcept is not all that profitable for Sony Ericsson. For this reason they will not make it apriority to release this device any time in the near future.Sony Ericsson's PSP phone patent features some interesting capabilities coming from sucha device. The mobile phone is capable of sliding from a vertical view to a horizontal one asto make the handset more appropriate for gameplay with similar features as those of anyother PSP device.The reason for Sony Ericsson's reluctance when it comes to releasing a PSP mobile phoneis that they feel like the company's name would have to suffer. Sony Ericsson currentlyprovides high quality handsets which are capable of rendering music or capturing images atstandards above average. Their efforts are meant to combine the telecommunicationfunctions with another specific one at best standards without any of them having to suffer.The problem with launching a PSP phone model is that Sony Ericsson does not considerthat its audience is sufficiently interested in such a product and it would fail to be assuccessful as they intend. Moreover the investments which would have to be made in partsand actually building such a handset have to pay off. Sony is not sure that this wouldhappen or that the PSP phone will be capable of high performances as they wish it to bewithout having to sacrifice other capabilities of the phone.P ...
