Content Inside:Patients Package InsertPage 1MINOXI 5 TOPICALSOLUTION Read this package insert carefully in its entirety before using this medicine. Composition:Active ingredients: Minoxidil 5%Nonactive ingredients: Alcohol 96% panthenol Propylene Glycol Purified water.Use:MINOXI 5 stimulates hair growth in balding areas of the scalp. The preparation is intended for use in healthy men aged between 1865 suffering from hair loss of hereditary type only. Consult your pharmacist or doctor to make sure that thistreatment is suitable for your type of hair loss. Topical application of MINOXI 5 to the bald scalp causes hair growth in part ofthe users of the preparation. The improvement rate is variable. Please note that MINOXI 5 is intended for a longterm treatment. The progression of baldness and hair loss is slow lasting for years in many cases. Similarly the process of hair regrowth is lengthy. The preparation therefore must be applied for at least 4 to 6 months in order to evaluate the growth of new hair. If no improvement is seen after 6 months of treatment consult your pharmacist or doctor about stopping the treatment asbenefit from continued treatment is unlikely. If you respond to treatment you need to continue to use MINOXI 5 as cessation of treatment will likely lead to a renewal of hair loss and disappearance of the achieved improvement. When should the preparation not be used?Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.
