SAP MM/PP Analyst Page 1Elster Electricity LLC SAP MM/PP Analyst Job Description The SAP MM (materials management) PP (production planning) Analyst will be responsible for supporting the SAP MM PP QM and WM modules for multiple business units. This includes the design implementation and configuration of business solutions and daytoday operational support. The incumbent will work with other SAP team members enterprise IT staff and external suppliers to analyze proposed changes to SAP technical configuration settings to optimize overall application performance. Primary Responsibilities Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests. Support business implementations by sharing best practice and configuration skills. Respond to user requirements problem resolution develop designs and process modeling.Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities. Ensure common configuration across business units where appropriate. Work with release management to plan test and implement releases. Defining maintenance and other improvements as needed. Ensuring adherence to methodology change control and compliance requirements.Act as a liaison with external suppliers on projects and enhancements. Participate in release upgrades or new functionality/enhancement assessments and make recommendations. Review and analyze industry solutions and tools to support the business. Ensure SAP service levels are met and project objectives are accomplished within budget and deadline.Assist with training activities. Work with external suppliers and end users to facilitate problem resolution. Qualifications Comprehensive understanding of SAP MM/PP/QM/WM modules. Minimum of two to five years experience with SAP configuration and testing in the areas of Logistics (MM PP QM WM). Prior work experience in a discrete manufacturing environment utilizing SAP.
