This is a great way to unwind after work Dropin times are every Thursday throughout the spring and summer from 57 pm. Garden tasks will vary each week based upon needs at that time.Those who volunteer in the garden will be placed on a list to receive seeds starts and produce as theybecome available!All activities meet at the Woody Island Tribal Council gardenlocated behind the Council office at 3248 Mill Bay Road Questions? We will paint a pot tour the garden then plant seeds in the pot for your child to take home! Saturday July 21 121 pm: Workshop: Composting 101Compost has a rather smelly reputation but when done properlycomposting can be a fun (and nonsmelly!) way to minimize household waste while creating an organic way to enrich garden soils. Learn all about composting techniques from creating a bin to what materials can be composted (youll be surprised!).Saturday July 28 123 pm: Organic Garden Work PartyHelp us harvest weed the beds and turn the compost!Refreshments will be available.
