The design and development of a comprehensive GUI application can bea difficult and lengthy task even with proper GUI tool kits. The growing size of futureHEP experiments will further increase the demand and consequently the developmenttimes for GUI applications.Another difficulty for the GUI developer is the wide variety of powerful computingplatforms available on the market today (Fig.1).
