Many of us especiallyin the vegetarianfriendly community strongly prefer organic over chemicalbased gardening. However vegetarians as well as the general publicconcerned with "Mad Cow" disease need to be aware that many organicgardening practices advocate the use of items such as blood and bone mealand other slaughterhouse byproducts. In this presentation based on an article that I published (available online atwww.trianglevegsociety.org/grapevine/v12 /vegarden.html) I will discussapproaches to organic gardening that are veganic not using any animalbyproducts at all and "vegetarian" avoiding groundup animals but perhapsusing manure.
