These tools are essential for any kind ofproject whether it is an advertisement newsletter logo poster or any kind of artwork. Guided by your sense oflayout and design you can use guidelines preset alignments and absolute values to organize text and imagesfor optimum results.During the course of this tutorial you will create an advertisement for The Coffee Shop. You will create some ofthe design elements and text but you will also learn how to import images and text.Click here to view what your final project should look like.What you will learnIn this tutorial you will learn how tocreate backgroundsuse guidelines and snapping optionscreate framesimport imagesuse the PowerClip toolapply preset drop shadowswork with artistic textimport and format paragraph textapply alignment optionsCreating the backgroundYoull start by opening a new document and customizing the drawing page dimensions. Then youll create thebackground: a gold colored rectangle with rounded corners. After you create the background youll apply the rest of the advertisements graphics and text.In this project youll use the default units of measure in CorelDRAW: inches.
